Puppy Linux - WORKS on PowerPro C 3:16 (Z500)

I am currently running Puppy Linux 4.21 which recognizes all of the hardware, including the internal wireless card. Puppy is a tiny and efficient Linux-based OS with lots of included apps and many more also-free optional add-ins.

It also recognizes a pcmcia wired & wireless nic, USB wireless devices plugged into a pcmcia-to-USB adapter, a wireless nic in the USB port, and I have just been able to link to my BlackBerry Pearl as a cellphone modem.

The only devices I have yet to communicate with effectively are my Oregon Scientific weather station via the Serial port, my Philips PixelPlus USB web cam, and an interface to an Amateur Radio transceiver.

Oh, and there is a "time" problem when using Linux - the OS shows the zone, date, and time OK but E-mail recipients are seeing time as 1-2 hours off.

When I next reboot I will check the BIOS.
