I believe I may have e-mailed you about this already. If you've already disabled all the power management settings, you may want to try reinstalling the driver for your graphics card. Some online source suggest this may resolve the problem.
Something else, when it goes to sleep can you wake it back up by moving the cursor, hitting a key, etc? If the screen just goes blank and you can't wake it back up, the video card driver would definitely be a good place to start.
Also, once you log into Windows, if you just leave it alone for 10 minutes or so will it try to do the same thing, or does it only happen at the login/welcome screen?
I've found quite a few people reporting issues with Windows 7 never sleeping or sleeping when it's supposed to be turned off, with a myriad of possible solutions, so you're definitely not alone. We just have to find the case that applies you. |
